"Getting Ahead with Google"
In the second quarter students reviewed nonfiction text features and analyzed nonfiction texts. As an extension activity students were required to read a biography. After completing the reading, they were to create a timeline, highlighting important events during that person's life. Additionally students provided a brief summary about their selected individual. In a continuous effort to effectively integrate technology my students were shown how to create a timeline using the Google Draw Application, and recorded their summaries.
